"Login Timeout Expired"

edited April 2011 in Server
Hi,

I've inherited a project from a colleague who has since left and I'm
having difficulty getting report builder to run. We're using report
builder server 12.04, and on running any report I get:

"Server Error: Processing request for report PASSReports\Dev Categories
Music EDataErro Login timeout expired "

It looks like something is misconfigured, but I've checked all the
appropriate .ini and xml files and they appear to be correct. Any
suggestions of what I can check next?

Thanks,

Steve

For tech support request please also specify full environment info including
Window version, Delphi version, RB Edition and RB version, database engine,
data access components, printer. For Server apps helps to know more details
than I listed. I have no clue as to what type of custom code might have been
added to the server. I don't know if you are using the ClientReport or a
    WebTier.

If you are new to RB, I recommend spending some time with the Developers
    Guide, tutorials, and demos.

Once you learn the fundamentals of RB, I recommend moving next to the RB
Server Developers Guide, tutorials, and demos.

Here is a link to list of resources for learning RB..

To find the cause of the error I recommend running the report server under
the Delphi debugger, when the error occurs check the call stack. A 'Login
timeout' error sounds like it might be caused by your database connection.
Maybe you are not getting logged in, maybe you get login but it times out,
maybe the database server is not running. Are you using SQL Server, I
    Googled and found this...
