Automatic Report Update ...

I know from here, that RB6 updates automaticaly end user reports from
prior versions. Is it true for reports created directly in components
within a program????..... Specificacly, since RB6 uses a Subreport
paradigm, detail bands are automaticaly converted ????

IF you create a report and save the report template to file or database,
then when the template is loaded up, it is converted into the new format.
Subreports are objects in the report, and so, all objects in the report
(including subreports and their bands/components) are converted to the new
format.
