TeeChart & RBuilder 6

edited July 2001 in General
I'm having problems getting the RBuilder TeeChart 6.0 components installed
with Delphi5. I'm getting a entry point error regarding the TeeDB55.pbl
when loading. I am using the complete version (Pro 5.0) of TeeChart and I
have checked through my hard drive looking for older versions. I have tried
reinstalling a couple of time with no luck. I do have Delphi 6 installed
but I am not currently using it.

Do I need to recompile a package or packages?

There was a problem with the initial version of RB 6.0 in regard to
installing the proper TeeChart support for D4 and D5. Download the latest
    build for RB 6.

    Jim,

I tried it again with the same result. The URL to download it didn't change
from the 7/6 email has it? I also am getting the compiler error when trying
to recreate the packages. Have any ideas where to go next?

    Thanks for the Help,
    Ron

I have TeeChart 5.0 installed on D5 and have installed RB 5.56 and then RB
6.0 quite a few times researching tech support issues. I haven't had any
problems with Teechart. The latest on our website is dated 7/11. The link
    and password is the same.

When RB installs, it detects which version of Teechart is installed by
looking for bpls in the windows system directory.

TeeDB55.bpl is a teechart file, not one that RB installs. Manually unistall
both RB and Teechart through 'Add/Remove Programs' from the Settings start
menu. Then Install Teechart, then install RB.

Still no luck. I uninstalled TeeChart then RBuilder, then reinstalled them
in that order and I still get the entry point error. My TeeChart bpl files
located in the system32 directory are data 12/20/2000. Do I have an older
version that may be causing the errors?
