Using cross-tab to print table with text values

Hi,

Is it possible to use a cross-tab to generate a table of text values.
I tried but it only seems possible to use numeric values in combination
with an aggregate function like sum, count, agv etc.

My database contains text values that just need to be printed in a
tabular form (rows and columns). The reason for using a cross-tab was
that the number of columns are undetermined.

Hi Jeroen,


Correct, the crosstab component is designed to be used with numeric
values. Currently you will need to create the table manually using
lines or shapes.

This is something we will consider enhancing or adding for a later
release of ReportBuilder. Thanks for the feedback.
