What report do I belong to?

In a component I'm trying to write, a descendant of TppDBText, I need to
get (and set) some properties of the report on which the component
exists. I know this has got to be somewhere, but I am at a complete loss
after spending hours combing through the help and source code.

You can use the Band property of the dbText to get at the parent band. Then
you should be able to reference Band.Report.MainReport as the TppReport.
