protecting main pipeline while enable the user to create their own data....dba

Hi everyone...

I'm using a designer, to allow the customer to customize their invoice... as
of now, they can change many items on it, font color, and so on....

All this time they were able to change the interface, however the data is
selected, ordered and filtere by the program itself, therefore, they don't
have to worry about data selection... However, recently we were hit with the
need to be able to select their own data and link it to our main data
pipeline (in a master/detail relationship).

How can I make them access the other tables and yet protect the main
dataset/pipeline?

Hi Luis,

There is currently no way to "restrict" certain dataviews in DADE. Thanks
for the feedback however, we will consider such a feature for a later
release.
