Sub report not printing on multiple pages.

edited May 2009 in Subreports
I am having a problem with a subreport not printing if it runs onto a second
page. It prints as much as it can fit on the current page. It then jumps to
the next record on the following page without printing all of the records
for the subreport. I have tried various group options, but still have the
same problem.

Can anyone help?

    Hi Bharathi,

When posting, please first define your environment (ReportBuilder version,
    Delphi version, etc.).

If you are using the latest version of ReportBuilder, please send a simple
example of this behavior perhaps using the DBDEMOS database in .zip format
to support@digital-metaphors.com and I'll take a look at it for you.

Delphi version 2007 for Win 32
    Report Builder version 10.07

There are two pipelines for the report - one for the main data set and one
for the subreport. I have the main information followed by the subreport in
the Detail section of the report.

I don't need a group, but did group the data to see if it made a difference.
With the main information in the group header and the subreport in the
Detail section, it still would not print records on the second page. I
prefer not to use the Group if I don't need to.

    Thanks!

    Hi Bharathi,

    1. Try upgrading your version of ReportBuilder to 10.09 and see if that
helps. Contact info@digital-metaphors.com for upgrade instructions.

    2. If you are still having issues, please send a simple example to
support@digital-metaphors.com in .zip format that demonstrates the issue and
that I can run on my machine.
