Need to rebuild ReportBuilder BPL files URGENTLY

edited December 2010 in General
Pursuant to my previous post, it appears that there's a bug in RB with
Delphi2010, probably due to the Unicode version of VCL, which is
causing me a huge problem.

Nard has pointed out the code which needs fixing but I now need to
know how to rebuild all the RB BPL files, as we're using runtime
packages.

The few previous posts on rebuilding seem to suggest that this is
rather tricky. Whilst some of the BPL files seem easy enough to
rebuild, some of them don't seem to have any corresponding DPK package
files - for example rbRAP1114.bpl.

Can someone please tell me how I can rebuild these files or,
alternatively, produce an updated version of RB11 which fixes this
bug.

Regards,
Toby.

Please do not use all caps in the subject. It has the opposite effect of
what you intend. Please do send emails to support@ and then post the same
question here. It has the opposite effect of what you intend. :)

As software developers, most all us are under intense pressure on a daily
    basis.

When code is patched, only the implementation section of the unit is
modified. Therefore only the package containing the modified unit needs to
    be recompiled.

    Hi Nard,

Apologies for that but I am rather desperate to get this fixed.

I appreciate you're all under pressure but the fact remains that we
purchased an upgrade from RB10 to RB11 specifically for Delphi2010
support and have now found that it doesn't work with Delphi2010. We
have customers shouting at us to fix this problem and we were
    powerless to do so.

I'll try recompiling just the relevant package and see how I get on.

    Regards,
    Toby.
