Prinited Text being cut-off under Windows 7

edited April 2010 in General
Our company has deployed a software product built under Delphi 7 that
incorporated ReportBuilder Enterprise Edition 7.03 printing components. The
product was built and deployed under Windows XP. Printing has worked
reliably under Windows XP, and later under Windows Vista, but now, under
Windows 7, customers are reporting that text is being shaved off the output
where textboxes and/or variables are usered on reports. The Autosize
property of these components elements have all been turned on, so it appears
to be an issue with faulty auto-sizing. Couriously, however, some elements
continue to print properly on our reports while others do not. And it seems
to be isolated to the printing of upper case text or mixed case text. And it
is printer independant behavior - doesn't matter which printer that the
printing is directed to, including printing to the screen.

So, has anyone else experienced similiar problems to this under Windows 7?
If so, any ideas as to the causes and/or remedies?

I haven't seen any problems--but I am using the latet version of RB. You
might try downloading the demo and see if that fixes it.

    Hi John,

There is a patch available for RB 11.08 that addresses this issue. The
patch however will only work with the latest version of ReportBuilder as we
are unable to fix the issue for earlier versions of ReportBuilder.
