Calculated Fields

Its great that after creating a Calculated (Expression in this case)
field in the Query Designer I can then name it sensibly in the Field
Alias column so that end users will understand it. But if I have to edit
my function column then my Field Alias is auto-renamed, which I'm afraid
to say is a big PITA! Anything that can be done about this?

(running v14.056)

    Hi Paul,

    Thanks for the feedback. For a future release, we could possibly add a
    way to lock the alias or perhaps once the alias is manually edited, it
    automatically becomes locked.

    I will mark this down as a possible enhancement.
