I did figure out that if I duplicated the table component and set up the
duplicate table as a master detail to the original table, and then accessed
that second table from a sub-report, it works fine. But y…I don't remember DM saying they were going to--I may have suggested that I
thought they would be adding it soon.

You can use second style sub reports to do that. Remove the header/footer
from the main report and drop sub reports onto your report. Set them to
shift relative in the correct order.
