Sorry Nico I should have said that
I have created a very simple program - just a form with some report

Ok I have done what you requested

Hi Nico,
I've tried to use dclRBU75.dpk and rbUSER75.dpk to add the component to
Delphi but i get this error message:

After reading your post I was able to figure it out. Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply, but this doesn't help. If I add rbRCL99 to my
package and try to recompile, and I get a message simply stating "Cannot
install package" with no error message and no warnings. Just fails, even if

I'll check it out. Many thanks

Hi Nico,
It is happening at the client's location. The error itself occurs just as
the first page of the report has completed being displayed.

Thanks Nico
I think I'll have to re-design my report to use Top to Bottom traversal.
If it's possible could you let me know which release may contain
enhancements to horizontal traversing.

Thanks Nico for the quick response.
I ticked the option to start a new column but now each group is put on a

Sorry, I have posted this onto server group as I think its probably better

Please reply on that group

Hi Nico,
Is this the only way? Is it possible to get DADE to work off of a
ClientDataSet rather than a query? Ideally, I just want to provide a
pipeline, and let the user design whatever they want using that pipeline.

Here is what i tried so far...
i created a new report, with just 2 labels on the header band, no events

Never mind the post. I figured it out. I didn't know it was so easy.

ok....I think the problem is that I don't have installed update pack 2 for
Delphi 6....
where can I find it?

No, I understand something like: delphi 6 version that I have, It needs
something for being compatible with report builder 6

Hi Nico
Doesn't work, it's a child-subreport. The popupmenu-Item is grayed out.
Tried to set the property via the inspector, but still the pagenumbers are
1/1 on every page.

The version I am using is version 7.02. I will try the other things you
suggested unless you have any other suggestions.

I have tried setting the BinName property at design-time and at run-time and
it still is not working. The report still outputs to the default tray. If
it helps, the printer is a HP LaserJet 8100 DN.
