Hi Jim;

But these are the reports that I'll be designing and they are going to
be quite a lot. The reports that developer designs, can they be stored

Hi Marco;
Thanks for confirming my findings;
Great idea!
For sure! My main understanding of using Blob/template was to keep the
EXE small. So I hope DM is reading this post and taking note of it.

Hi Ben...
If you drop a TppReport component onto your form and load or create a report
template there, this will stay in your application just as you have noticed.
If you don't want this, you have to either clear this report by … -
If possible - unfortunately it does appear to be random. Can't guarantee

Oh my God. Do you know how many reports I'll have to rewrite?
Are there any solutions that don't involved several thousand dollars worth
of my client's money?

In re-reading, I found an ommission that may lead to confusion. See below:

Jim,
thanks for the response.
I'm only using the Report Builder Pro - no add-ins. I'm Printing to a

Correction. Delphi 5 does not actually lock up permanently. It simply
stays unresponsive for 5 minutes, then Delphi loads. Can anybody advise me
on how to correct this problem?

Axel,
after reading some web sites, I think you are right, 'EAN 128' is a subset
of 'Code 128', like 'Code 128 A' or 'Code 128 B'.

Hi Chris,
yes, EAN-128. One of our customer requested this code.
I got some very useful informations here :

Hi Jim,
thanks for your suggestion. This resolution has two problems though: a) It
requires me to revisit every report to do some re-designing and b) The

Didn't we go to different schools together?
I tried using the Data Workspance. I created a query (pasted one from
IBQuery), changed all fields to use it and now when I preveiw the report it

So if I use the Data Workspace, do I still need to use the IBQuery,

Thanks for you help,

I haven't done it myself, but what about using the report's BeforePrint

some special printers, like Zebra label printers, are using
a special proramming language like ZPL II.
This allows a very flexible printing for graphs, formatting
