Blank pages

edited February 2005 in Subreports
Hi,
I have a report where the main report has not header or footer but has 4
subreports. 2 in the Detail band(A and B), one in the 1st group footer (C)
and one in the 2nd group footer(D). The A,B & C subreports are portrait
except the D sub-report HAS to be landscape. Therefore I have D subreport
to have the PrintBehavior to be pbSection in order to print properly. The
issue I'm having is that in SOME instances a blank page is inserted before D
subreport is printed. Not always just a couple. I've checked to ensure the
subreports are not spilling onto the next page but they're all looking fine.
Is there anyway I can avoid this or do I just have to tell my users to toss
that blank page:)
Thanks in advance,
Denise

    Hi Denise,

This is probably happening when there is just enough space to print
subreport C, then the report engine breaks to the next page to print the
second group footer. Next the report engine sees that you have a Section
subreport and by default starts a new page. Depending on how you need your
report to print, you may be able to play around with band sizes and the
NewPageThreshold property of the group to minimize the probability of this
    happening.
