side by side subreports

I'm trying to print 2 sub reports side by side for each detail line in main
report. Each sub report must stretch as necessary and the detail line must
stretch to accomodate the longest sub report

ie...

Detail Line 1......................
SR1 Rec 1 SR2 Rec 1
SR1 Rec 2
SR1 Rec n

Detail Line 2......................
SR1 Rec 1 SR2 Rec 1

Detail Line 3.....................
SR1 Rec 1 SR2 Rec 1
SR2 Rec 2
SR2 Rec n

I tried placing each sub report in it's own region, and configured sub
report and region properties so that each sub report will stretch as
appropriate but always encountered 1 problem or another (sub report didn't
completely print, or a sub report extended down into next main report detail
line, etc.).

Checkout the ShiftRelativeTo property to have other stretchable controls
below the subreports shift as they increase in height.
