Calling report with date in auto search parameters

edited June 2008 in Server
I am having an issue calling a report on my server via the following example
url:

http://www.myweb.com/RBWebServer/RBWebServer.dll?content=pdf&volume=Report
Explorer Database&name=Backlog
Summary&framset=1&newsearch=T&asg0f0se=1/1/2008

The value of report.autosearchfields[0].searchexpression is 12/30/1899

What is the proper way to handle passing a date in the above manner?

Thanks All,
Branden Johnson

    Try

    2008-1-1-0-0-0

    Looks like it wants

    yyyy-mm-dd-hh-nn-ss

That worked but a date like 2008-4-1-0-0-0 yields a
    report.autofields[0].SearchExpression of 5/1/2008?

It appears the webtier code was written to accomodate the Javascript Date
object, which uses a zero based month (0 to 11).

For RB 11, we can change it so that...

    1. The web search form is responsible for adjusting the Javascript month by
    one.

    2. The webiter will accpet yyy-mm-dd (i.e. 2008-1-1)
