best place to assign value to Tppmemo

I have put a Tppmemo to the detail band and on different condition, I put
some content into it. When I do it in Beforeprint or Memoonprint event, it
fires a numerious of times (I know it is the correct design). I am working
on an internet apps by middle-ware environment.

Q: How do I put my code to a event handler so to minimize the data transfer
or work in the mentioned event? Can I put a dummy calculate field to the
detailband and do the "get content" from this event?

You could use a TppVariable and use its OnCalc event(which fires only once
per its timing dialog settings) to populate the memo with text.
