TeeChart 5.01 under 5.56

Hi,
My TppDPTeeChart component refuses to show the dataset/single record option.
Usually it gives me an exception when I switch to the series tab. Sometimes
it doesn't error but it still fails to show me anything related to
data-aware.

I was VERY careful to install TeeChart 5.01 first and then Reportbuilder
5.56. I also have verified that the proper DCUs were in place. However, it
was complaining about a panel not being compiled with the correct version,
so I moved all the 55x teechart source to the lib directory so it would
recompile. This got me clean compiles, but my interface is still acting up.
I tried recompiling the DPks - two of them fail with very strange internal
errors.

Any help would be appreciated. TeeChart works just fine outside of
ReportBuilder.

I found the same problem in D5 with RB 5.56 and TeeChart 5.01. So, I
installed RB 6.01 and TeeChart can now see the datapipelines. Contact
info@digital-metaphors.com with your full registration information to
receive the download to 6.01 for Delphi 5.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind - We're about to go live and I don't really
want to upgrade to new version of anything. Good to know there is a
solution though I'd prefer one in 5.56.

I've created reports in 5.56 with TeeChart 5.01 for sure. RB 5.56 and
TeeChart 5.01 should work. What could have happened on my machine is that
one of the installs for RB6 overwrote my bpl for Teechart support.

I would check the corrupt installation for RB to make sure that you don't
have any older RB files on your machine. There is a Tech-Tip in the
installation thread of the TT newsgroup.
