Custom Autosearch Dialog with WebTier...

Hi All,

Are there any examples of how I would create a custom dialog
autosearch for use with the report server and webtier module? I'm
trying to display a pick list in which the items are not selected by
default. I would want the user to add items (one or more) instead of
having to remove them. In addition, I don't want the user to have the
ability to add items to the pick list. The items from the pick list
would be populated from a database.

1. You need RB Server Edition 7.02.

2. See the following examples. Each example includes a ReadMe.doc.

- RBServer\Demos\Servers\Custom Parameters and
- RBServer\Demos\WebTier\Custom Parameters

3. In RB Serevr 7.02 you can define session and report parameters. Each
parameter object has a Name, DataType, and an optional PickList. See
TppParameter in the online help. The demos above show the parameters can be
defined on the server and used by the webtier.
