Print html e-Mail

edited October 2006 in Devices
Hello,

I would like to print mail with RB. (This app is made under Delphi 5 so
we are talking about RB 7.04)

If it is a text mail everything is fine. But what can I do if my mail
contains html ?

Any idea would be very helpful for me !

Thanks in advance

Thomas

    Hi Tom,

I'm a bit unclear about what you need. ReportBuilder does not include a
native HTML viewing component. If this is what you are looking for, take a
look at TRichView. (http://www.trichview.com). Do you want to send the
report as an attachment to an email or would you like the report to
represent the actual email itself? If this is for the actual email and you
are perhaps using Indy, you will need to adjust the Indy settings in order
to display html in the email.

ReportBuilder 10.x includes native email support (i.e. sending a report as
an attachment to an email message).

    Hi Nico,

sorry. In my database there are many html mails. A few of them have to
be printed with ReportBuilder. So I have to find a way to transform my
html mail to richtext to use this in my ReportBuilder.

But I have to find a way to print html within ReportBuilder 7.04 (!!)
    (under Delphi 5)

    Hi Tom,

I believe the add-on TRichView does just that. The name is confusing but it
is built to handle HTML documents.
