sendmail cannot find attachment

edited June 2006 in Devices
I am generating reports to send as emails. I have a problem with one report
when we call ppreport1.sendemail I get a message stating:
MAPI Error message Attachment not Found.

The report generates valid data when viewing or printing directly. The
output type is PDF for the email and this works ok in other forms. I get a
normal message showig 'Accessing Data' and 'Generating page xxx'.

    Hi Paul,

I have not seen this behavior before. Which email client are you using on
your machine. The email feature was fully tested with Microsoft Outlook
2003 and Outlook Express 6. Both of these clients are MAPI enabled and
function correctly in my tests. Do you see this behavior using the email
example in the main reports demo?

It's using outlook. But it is a specific report that gives this error -
other reports are fine. But with the nature of the error I have no idea why
it it fails. A normal preview / print of the report is fine.

Are you using the latest release - RB 10.03? (check the Help | About box of
    the report designer).

    Hi Paul,

You mentioned that this only occurs with a certain report. What is
different about this report than others that email correctly? Would it be
possible to place this report into a simple example application that
demonstrates the error? If so, please send the example in .zip format to
    support@digital-metaphors.com and I'll have a look.
