Hi,

when i want to install ReportBuilder 15.02 the setup fails when it
starts to compile TeeChart binaries. The error message is:

Cannot open file "C:\TeeChart\TeeStd800\dcc32.txt". The system cannot
find the specified file.

The previous versions of RB installed without that error even if
TeeChart support was selected there.

The file dcc32.txt could be found inside the TeeChart directory of the
RB-installation and not in the directory "C:\TeeChart\TeeStd800\".

I have solved the problem with a small workaround: Installed RB 15.02,
then created that directory and copied the file "dcc32.txt" to that
directory. After that i started the setup again in repair-mode.

Hi Ralf,

Did you install ReportBuilder to the default location? Which version of
ReportBuilder are you using? Are you running a 64 bit or 32 bit OS?

When the installer runs, it checks your registry as to where
ReportBuilder is installed on your machine. It appears this key may be
empty on your machine which is why the installer is looking on the C
drive for the TeeChart directory.

I am not sure if it was clear to understand: I got that error message
DURING the execution of the setup!

So the registry location sure was empty before i started the setup (i
had removed a previous version of RB before). I had done a fresh install
and the location where RB was about to be installed should have been
known to the setup (it was installing to that location at that time and
had already copied lots of files to that location)

Anyway, i know how to work around that problem...
