This is how I handled one of those.
On the TppMemo component, you will see a property called
"ShiftRelativeTo". Just assign this to the component prior to the memo
component. This should solve your problem.

Yes, but what if the memo field in underneath another field. This would
make the data band 2 lines high. If I do not print the the memo field, the
detail band is still 2 lines high..

I noted that if the detailband.visible := flase then the detail bandcount
remain's at 0 and does not increment.
Is this a bug or is this as expected.

I think I was not very clear. I know which data goes on page 1 and I
know that it will fit on page 1, Page2, Page3, etc.
Knowing that, what RB code, events, etc. are necessary to cause the data

I am trying the same thing, on a footer band. But it will not allow me to
make the band phDynamic and even though the memo field is set to stretch, it
is not.

That didn't really fix the problem. It is still leaving blanks in
the middle. This happens even on a very simple 2 column
report so I don't think its something I am doing. Is it suppose
to work?
