  • Add this to the BeforePrint event:

    Rpt.Publisher.Devices[0].PageSetting := psPageList;
    Rpt.Publisher.Devices[0].PageList.Text := '%Page Number Here%';

  • Hi,

    Thanks for the answer. :)
Do you have some example to show me?

    Thanks again

  • PrintPage does nothing. The actual code is commented out in RB. You will need to use the page list
    property.

  • Found the answer, if anyone is interested look at the
    GetDataPipelines method in TppReport.

This will get you a list of Child Pipelines their parent
is your particular DataView and the Data Views parent
    is the TdaDataModule…
  • I have thought the details like addres,.... are in the report.parameters.
and in Preview form like the search button, a button to send mail....
if parameters is null a form ask you the details, if not it sends the
    reports....
  • There is no built in dialog to do this. You would have to code this yourself to collect the
details like address, server, etc and add a menu item like "Send to..."

  • I can see in some database like MySQL stores boolean as string like
'TRUE'/'FLASE', so I need to set BooleanTrue to 'TRUE' and BooleanFalse to
    'FALSE'.

What value should I set these if the boolean field os database is 'Boolean'<…

  • Nico,

This was a fresh install on a brand new computer to replace one that died. So I
couldn't have had any old RB files sitting around. I think I found the problem
though. In the rbAds77.dpk file, the first line read "packag…
  • Nico,

I do not have Adsd70.dpk in the requires clause, but there is a Adsd70.dcp
there. The specific error I'm getting is that the compiler can't find
    rbads66.res.

Thanks for your help and speedy replies!

  • Nico:

Thank you for replying. I still don't understand how to get the absolute
position of the components within the subreport - will looping through the
components of the subreport yield this ???

    If so - then…
  • Thank you for your reply. On the first page I am formatting an invoice for
an agency which shows the total due less commissions. On the second
page I want to print information specific to the commissions. All the
    information needed…
  • It was pretty easy to define a filename in the HelpFile parameter, but we're
getting something weird with it now. From inside the Designer if you press
F1 to call Help you get this error:

"An error exists in this Help file. Cont…
  • Hi Nico,

Thank you again for your reply. Yes, it seems as RAP would be the definate
way to go if performing specific operations within the report. However, for
now I think I will just go ahead and filter the data instead. Eventu…
  • Thanks Nico,

We do not have RAP. I could not locate the Templates|Using template Events
    in the tech tips.
So will I be able to load different report templates into my main
reportform, or do I need separate forms for each re…
  • Sorry,

It had nothing to do with ReportBuilder, it's Delphi's update and localization. It's OK now !

  • ReportBuilder Professional - Version 6.02
Delphi 5.0 with Update Pack 1

I get the error as the pages are being generated. It comes up for preview -
after viewing the first page, I send the report to the printer. As I

  • Hi Nico,

THANKS! That's perfect (I modified some of the positions and removed
the Variants unit to get it to work - I'm using D5 not D7). I also
tried using 2 columns to get my 'booklet' format and I think that will

  • Thanks Nico for the prompt responses.

1 - I will need to really study the Booklet example - it looks like it
may be both time and resource consuming for a large report.

    2 - I have no problem with Concatenating fields (I d…
  • Hi Nico,
    Thanks for your quick reply.
I really missed the dbcalc component... it is exactly what i need!
    Thanks for the tip.

  • Hi,

Thanks for the help, but I'm still getting the issue.
I put together a small demo of what's going on. My problem very well could
    be related to
how I'm unloading the package but I can't seem to see it...

  • Thanks for the quick response Nico.
I am actually trying to close after the Report.Print method.
To be more clear about my issue, my report and form that I print from are in
    a BPL.
Do you have any examples of using Rbuilder in a …
  • By the way:
I'm using RB 7.03 pro with Delphi 7 Enterprise, on Windows 2000.
  • Hi Nard,
I am running delphi test project here and I will send it to you as soon as
its ready.. Shall I use the old rbuilder or the trial which i downloaded?

  • We are having the same problem in both dotmatrix and laser printers. After
printing through rbuilder the printer stops linefeeding when it comes to
    printing plain text.
