I had the same problem on some types of laser printer which was resolved by
setting the image transparancy to true (or false - I can't actually remember
which way around it was).

Thanks Nico that did the job. I now need to do the same with 5 address
DBEdit fields that are located above each other. I presume I need to use the
same format but how do I put a carrage return at the end of an address line.

I jsut put a label with 0 or 0.00 behind the dbtext component, set its
transparent property to false and make sure that autosize is set to true.
If there is no data in the DBText it will resize to nothing and display the
label behind … -

I have had the same problem.
what i do is have the db control and a label.
the db control visible is false and the label visible is true
i populate the label with the data from the dbcontrol
with an if statement throw… -

This is the default behavior of the DBText field. I too experienced the
problem and built my own descendent of TppDBText. If you want it drop me an

so I made the variable visible in the detail line so I could

all the numbers come out right now.
but i want to keep the group together

to the new page. But my new problem is that I need to have a master-detail
relationship because the subreport should only show the comments for recor… -
