You probably caught them on holiday. If you do not get a response by

Yes, as I mention in earlier messages, RB 9 is giving me stack overflows -
even on new reports. The only way I can get it to work at the moment is to
put the report, pipeline, datasource and dataset on the same form. I've had
to go… -
Thanks Nico,
it works just as I wanted it to !!!

What does the rbCurrentRecord, reCurrentRecord do. I thought they only
printed the current record in the dataset.

This is with RB9 and Delphi 7.
Using the Pardox Enduser demo program, set ppReport1.AllowPrintToFile to
true.
Run the program, open a report, select Preview.
In the File menu, select Print. On the Print dialog… -
All right, so where is the new PDF printing documented and where is the new
Object Inspector domented?
Also, allowprinttofile no longer seems to work.
I am also getting stack overflows when trying to use IBX or IBO in end… -
Hi Nico,
This issue was one of the most important things that prevents me from buing
RB, since I cannot let my end users delete controls that I have added. A

Thanks William - just placed the order and will be taking a look at the

Hi, David
The GridPack for ReportBuilder comes with full source code. You will get
the GridPack for RB9 for free. Since the classes in the GridPack for RB9 are
all inherited from the standard RB9 VCL classes, so Grid Pack will… -
William: I read that you plan to support RB9 as soon as you get it to work
on - I have a couple of pre-order questions to save me looking too hard for
the answers ;-)

Hi,
As soon as I get the RB 9

Nico,
Thanks for then help, unfortunately your suggestion does not work. My

Thanks.
I surely hope it happens fast, as I'm a registered user of Grid Pack but
have no use of it, since this was my original reason for buying it.

Hi, Jack
I'm working on it to improve the functionalities of the CrossTab of Grid

Nico,
I might be stupid, but from the advertisements etc. of Grid Pack I
understood like you that he has a Cross Tab that does what RBuilders

Thanks for the response. Though I can appreciate the problems with the D8

Hi Nico,
I don't understand your comment regarding not realeasing a VCL.NET version
of RB "unless the VCL.NET platfrom can prove itself capable of building
non-trivial applications". What exactly is it about VCL.NET that you … -

I use Norton AV and had to disable Script Blocking. Then it all worked.
You have made a better job of the help than Borland have, although it needs

Nico,
I can understand the interest in actually doing this (from
the end developer's point of view). When I get RB9 I will still want
to (temporarily) maintain my existing apps with RB7. I will also
want to keep… -
Nico,
I may be way off on this but:
If RB7 and RB 9 are installed in separate folders
you should be able to switch easily from RB7 to RB9 with the same
version of Delphi.
I do this with many other s… -
