    thank you, but I think it will not help.

    I am using XP with SP2. I have spent 2 days to solve this problem. You
    can meet this problem on a Win 2000 server, Win 2003 server or XP. If
    there is NO PRINTER INSTALLED…

    TppArchiveReader class (protected methods CreateStream and FreeStream) or

    Since my original post I've upgraded to RB9E rather than the demo and tried
    to use the source I had to register TC7 support in RB7 but there seems to be
    a number of underlying changes to the RB9 base classes

    Thanks for the advise.
    I know from my own experience that you can't achieve with all customer
    requirements, but my I suggests the above to be added to the ToDo list.
