Sum from One Subreport in Another

I have a master report with several detail sub reports. I want to do a
calculation in one sub-report with a sum from the another sub-report. Is it
possible?

Opps - My environment is: DOA, Oracle 8i, RB 7.02 server.

Hi Jon,

Are you using RAP? If so, you will need to create a global variable and
assign the reference to the variable in the subreport. Something very
similar to the example below.

Yes, I'm using RAP. Your demo program was very helpful.

I was also able to use Oracle functions to pull some of the subtotals out.

I'd also like to say RB Server is more powerful than expected and your
support has been outstanding. I have a report with 10 subreports pulling
from 11 different files with thousands of records and it's performing
beautifully!
