I have been testing use of DataViews with an ADO connection to a Pervasive
database using ODBC. Things look good except dates which I hope to overcome
using OnGetAutoSearchValues. I have DataSettings with
Session Type = ADOSession
Database Name = ado1 (a TadoConnection Component on the form)
Database Type = Other

Before I go forward with modifying SearchValues, I notice editing SQL in the
Data tab breaks the links. Are they preserved if the change to SQL is made
at runtime?

Hi Sher,

ReportBuilder 11 added the ability to edit the SQL and retain the dataset
links. In ReportBuilder 10 and earlier, this feature was not available so
all data links are lost once the SQL code is edited manually at design-time
or runtime.
