Any one used kbmMW as backend to RB?

edited February 2006 in DADE
Anybody had success in using kbmMW with RB Enduser examples? I have spent
several days on this without making this work the way it should. I use MS
SQL Server as backend for kbmMW. If anyone made this combination work, are
you willing to let med know how by an example or some tricks.

We do not have any experience here with kbmMW. However, here is an example
of using RB Enduser with Borlands midas/datasnap artchicture. Perhaps that
    will be helpful.

I recommend approaching the task in incremental phases.

    1. First try to get the Query tools to work

    2. Next step would be the report explorer

    3. Final step is the DataDictionary (optional)

The DADE thread of the Tech Tips newsgroup contains articles with an over of
    the DADE architecture.

Ok, great. Please let us know if you create a DADE plug-in and would like to
    share it with others.

    Atle,

I am also in the process of using kbmMW and DADE.

if you managed to get any examples working, could you send them my way to?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

Please check the article: kbmMW and ReportBuilder 10 for a 'How To'.
    http://www.components4programmers.com/articles/reportbuilder10enduserreportdesi.htm

kbmMW bundles a DADE adapter which allows for a kbmMW application server to act as one or more virtual databases towards
    RB.

We have just updated the adapter internally to add even more features to it. This update will be provided free of charge
in the next minor kbmMW update.
