Me again.

edited December 2010 in General
It's a while since I worked on my end-user app based on the end-user
example.

I am using D2010, latest RB & Advantage Database 10.10.

IIRC, I should be able to double click on the ppDataDictionary, or
right click and open the Data Dictionary Builder.

When I do I get an error message..

"Session class could not be found for SessionType: ADSSession"

I don't recall this last time I edited the DD. I haven't changed
anything in the App except that since last edited both RB & ADS have
updated.

Is this a RB or ADS issue or have I forgotten something?

Regards & TIA,

Ian

Make sure the DADE plug-in for Advantage is installed to the Delphi IDE. Try
removing the package and re-installing it. This will register the package.
The latest Delphi IDE's have a demand package loading scheme that will not
always load the packages. I notice for our Advantage demo we have not create
a separate registration unit and separate design-time package. For an
example of that see the ElevateDB or DBISAM demos. They contain a separate
design-time only package that contains a registration unit that forces the
    package to be loaded.

The other thing to check is that the DataDictionary.BuilderSettings is
    configured.

Sigh. Since I last played with RB I have had two major
    crashes/reinstalls.

I had forgotten to install the RB Advantage DADE.

    Slinks away kicking ones self....
