Advantage Database and Filtering
Hello again all.
D2007, ADS 9, RB 11
We have been converting our BDE Pdox apps to ADS. Almost ready to deploy,
reports coversion a breeze.
We notice that in BDE, when a Filter is applied using the wwNavigator, the
dsAdsMain.DataSet.RecordCount returns the correct count filtered count.
When in ADS, and a Filter is applied using the wwNavigator, the
dsAdsMain.DataSet.RecordCount returns the table count and not the filtered
count. Any ideas?

Is this a Report Builder Question?
Sounds more like Advantage and woll2woll?
Have you checked the setting in the
AdvantageTable.adsTableOptions.AdsFilterOptions, these need to be set to
RESPECT_WHEN_COUNTING (as does AdsScopeOptions)
Hope this helps and sorry if I have misunderstood.
