Builder Controls problems

edited June 2010 in General
Hi All,

I've just downloaded the Builder Controls Package avaliable at Digital
Metaphors for v12 and ran into 2 problems...

First, the packages refer to old packages (rbRCL106). That one was easy
to fix. Changed to rbRCL126.

Second, I'm trying to use RB on a form and it gives a "Invalid Image
size" message and doesn't open. When I remove the Builder Controls
package everything goes fine.

Where and what is this image?

TIA
Andrew S. Vaz

I just tested this here and did not encounter any issues. I downloaded the
builder controls. I first did a simple run-time designer test, no issues.
Next I compiled the packages. I copied the BuilderControlsPackage to
Windows\System32 and I copied the BuilderControlsPackageDesign to
RBuilder\Lib. I installed the packages into the Delphi IDE. I can create new
reports and use the components. I can save and re-open. No issues
    encountered.

    Nard,

    Deleted the BuilderControlsPackage.res and
BuilderControlsPackageDesign.res files, recompiled and now it works.
Perhaps it was the D6 version files that were damaged...

    Thanks

I used D6 sp2 for my testing. In your original post you mentioned rbRCL126,
so by the package name I was able to determine you were using RB 12 for D6.
    :)
