Main report's all components ar in PageStyle

What is the use of PageStyle?

Reason I am having SubReport not being printed .....

I am using RTM developed by someone else who
has no clue as to where to drop component,
for example in Detail band/Page Style/Group Footer, etc.

In the report I have problem, main report's all components are in PageStyle
and at the bottom of the Page Style, I dropped a Subreport.

SubReport is also loaded from RTM.

The PageStyle is a background layer, used for graphic elements such as
background form image.

Let me ask you a question. Do you use the RBuilder.hlp file?

From the RBuilder.hlp topic on PageStyle:

The page style prints once for each page. The PageStyle is always printed as
the bottomost layer of the page and does not use any space on the page (as
do the other band types). Page styles are usually sized to the printable
area of the page and filled with components that represent formatting to
appear on each page. This is usually done in order to emulate forms.

I was main concerned about why my Subreport was
not printing.

And my doubt about PageStyle was correct

I moved all components from Page Style to
Detail Band

And now SubReport prints.

BTW, is there easy way to move all components
from one band to another. I used select all
then drag it to the Detail Band which took about 30
minutes.

I tried to copy, cut then select Detail Band after expanding to
fit all components, but when I paste all components, it
pastes in the same Band (where it was before).

Download a trial version of RB 9, the Designer performance for selecting,
dragging, and moving has been greatly improved. As a test I just created 50
labels, then selected and dragged them to a new band. Took about 2 secs.

I have total of 911 components on one page.
Could you test it with over 975 components
including # of boxes, DBText, Labels, etc.?

RB 9 Trial versions are available for download from our web site.

The RB 9 Designer contains a number of enhancements, including improved
performance and mulitple undo/redo support. I recommend that downloading a
trial version and evaulating/testing it on your workstation.
