Multiple subreports problem

edited January 2005 in Subreports
Hi,

RB 9.0
Intebase 7.1

I have problem to set up a report with multiple tables.
I can get the report to show all items up to Item2a below but when I add
the subreport for Item2b the report only shows Item1 details.

The queries are created in RB data tab.

TableMaster -> Item1
Item1a (linked to Item1)
Item1b (linked to Item1)

Item2 -> Item1 (linked to Item1)
Item2a (linked to Item2)
Item2b (linked to Item2)

Id on't know if it make sence but
I want is to have a report like this

-------------------------------------
Master information

Item1-Number Item1-Description
Item1a-Number1 Item1b-Info1
Item1a-Number2 Item1b-Info2
Item1a Number3 etc...

Item2-Number Item2-Description
Item2a-Number1 Item2b-Info1
Item2a-Number2 Item2b-Info2
etc.... etc....
-----------------------------------------------

Try setting DataPipeline.SkipWhenNoRecords to False for all of the
datapipelines, except for the main one.

    Nard,

    I don't use datapipelines.
The SQL objects are created in the RB Data tab with the query designer.
I have looked in the DataTree and the ReportTree in the report designer but
    can't find a similar setting.

From the Data workspace, you can access the Link dialog by either
double-clicking on a visual link or by pressing the right mouse button while
positioned over the detail query. You can specify the setting from there.

    Nard,

Is it "Include only those records....." and " Include all records
from..." radio buttons you have in mind?

Yes, I have used these but will give them another try.

Yes, that's the same setting. It's just worded in a more user friendly
    manner than SkipWhenNoRecords.
