Shift Relative of subreport in region.

Why is the shift relative option of the sub report disabled when the
sub report is in a region?

I have 3 subreports in a region that I need to make sure they shift
relative to each other and that option is not available. What else
can I do with this?

That is a limitation of the Region. It cannot contain shifting objects
inside of it. An alternative configuration would be to place the 3
subreports inside another subreport. Or to use 3 regions rather than one.
