Richtext webtier error

I've just upgraded an RBserver application from 7.04 to 9.01 (server and
webtier) and
all existing reports conating static richtext (in the header/footer etc)
give an error

Access violation at address 010BCF8E in module kIWebTier.dlI Read of address
00000020

when accessed through a browser.
If I set the richtext visibility to false , the error is no longer appearing
and the report
displays correctly (without the richtext)

Any pointers on where to look .... or what may have changed ?

Try updating to RB 9.02, it contains some fixes for RichText.
