Crash Server 7.04 Build 2

edited June 2004 in Server
My server crashes on a report that has 4 TeeChart in it (v6.1).

This is the the Call Stack when running the server

TObject.InheritsFrom(???)

@IsClass(nil,TClass($307F710))

Any ideas ???

There is a known issue with TeeChart using certain types of series, for
example a function series that references another series. TeeChart does not
properly manage object references. This results in exceptions/AV's occurring
in the destroy of the components. We have submitted an example to Steema
that demonstrates the error in a simple application that does not use RB.
Steema is going to fix the issue for a future release (7.01 I think).

When you update to RB 7.04, make sure that you recompile all applications:
report server app, client report app, and web tier.

Lets hope this will solve the problem, because, i need charting in my
reports and this is making me quite desperate. I switched to D7 for
this issue but still this wasn't a solution !!!!!

if you don't get a satisfactory answer, you might want to make the
example(s) public so that those of us with source could look at fixing the
    problems ourselves.

We have not yet performed any tests with the TeeChart 7.01 beta.

If you try testing with TeeChart 7.01, please post the results here.
