TppViewer and Win 9x

Hello!

I use RB Pro 6.02

I have a problem with the TppViewer and the Win9x. Under Win NT+2000 don't
exists the problem.

Situation:
My Application and the Sreensaver in Win9x are running. I break the
screensaver and I generate a report in the application.

Problem:
After I called in the Preview-Form ( PreviewForm.Show; ) => the TppViewer
works in the procedure

"procedure TppViewer.WndProc(var Message: TMessage);"

various Messages.
After the Message.Msg = 130 the Taskbar of Win9x is destroyed and the
explorer hangs up.
I have to "Strg-Alt-Del" and stop "explorer" then the taskbar comes again.

Anybody know something about this problem?

We have experienced resource issues with Win9x when running the viewer
component. Win9x should be able to handle the previwer alone as the single
application. If you break out the report viewer part of your application to
only preview a report, you shouldn't run into problems with resources. Our
experience is that you'll run into problems only when other applications are
also using memory when the previewer begins showing pages.
