Printing detail information in header

Hi,

Is there a way to print detail information in header? Like, the first record
of the group should be printed in the header of the group. I've tried
putting the details fields in the header but got duplicated data.

Any sort of help would be welcome.

Instead of creating a group header, make the first detail band of a group
print like it was the header. Set the visibility of the controls in the
detail band to do this. It may be helpful to use two regions. The first
region would be the header band layout, and the second region would be the
regular detail band layout. Place them together in the detail band, so that
at design time they will be stacked vertically so you can manipulate them.
Then at runtime, reposition them so that their top is zero and set the
visibility of the region to print the pseudo-group header band.
