Error Compiling under D6, Proxies.dcu not found

edited August 2001 in General
Hi, i have just migrated from D3 to D5 without problems with RBuilder 5.
I have installed RB 6 and i'm migratting my applications to Delphi 6,
when i compile it appears an error, the .pas DesignEditors uses the
proxies unit and D6 Compiler returns me the typical error of proxies
dcu not found. I have not found the proxies dcu into the group of
files of my machine, and i have not use of DesignEditors unit into my
application, i don't understand the kind and origin of this error.

How can i resolve this problem and compile under Delphi 6?

Thanks for all

Check your library path in D6, perhaps it is pointing at your D5
directories? You shouldn't be needing DesignEditors when compiling with RB.

    hi,

    same problem.

but i have made no migration between delphi and rb version.

    I installed win2000,

    i installed Delphi 6

    I installed ReportBuilder 6.01

    It works.

but after i would compile the ReportBuilder package and then it doesn't work
because it did not find the proxies.dcu.
in fact, the RB dpk file is not complete, some dcp files are missing to have
    compilation ok.

You have to add the designide.dcp file to the dpk file.

    Gab.

Why are you recompiling our packages?
