The infamous ppRichText compont

edited August 2001 in General
I've been having such a problem with the ppRichText component.

Now my problem is that if the data in the data in the ppRichText component
spills on to another page ,the second page doesn't print yet the printer
keeps spitting out hundreds of pages.

    Gary:

You should send support this directly. I would also include printer & driver
info with it. Could you duplicate this on multiple printes?

This is extremly disappointing. I've been working on this for a week with a
deadline of 8/28/01, only to find it is no good and Digital Metaphors has no
    solution!

I did not say DM has no solution. I said you are going to get quicker
support directly from DM. When I find issues with other software and time is
critical, I create a small sampel of the issue that I am seeing and get it
directly to them, along with as much information as I can. I believe you
will find this more efficient and it helps them identifiy what the issues
are--weather they are in your code or theirs.

Take this report and set it up so that it only prints one record.
Statically assign the richtext so that the problem is isolated to one record
and send it to support@digital-metaphors.com as Ed has suggested- Thanks.
