Further suggestions

1. When a band is completely covered (say, with a stretched shape) in
the designer, it's very difficult to select the band. I generally
have to bring up the Report Tree. Delphi's IDE is quite elegant, in
that Esc selects the parent of a component. Please make the designer
work the same way.

2. For a given GroupBand, how does one tell (in the IDE) which ppGroup
is associated with it? And how does one select that ppGroup? There
doesn't even seem to be a published property that links these two
related components. Conversely, how do you get to the GroupBand from
the ppGroup? This can be a real problem if you have several groups
breaking on the same value.

1. Thanks for the suggestion. The report tree can save the day.

2. There's no visual linking the group header/footer band to the group.
Your right, you can't get from the group object selected in the OI to the
group band in the designer through any visual hinting in RB. If 3 groups are
created on the same value, then perhaps removing two of them would help
clear up some of the confusion:) In the single group header/footer, drop a
subreport, which is connected to no data, if you need extra bands? I guess
I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish with 3 groups on the same
value. Surely, there is a better way than creating extra groups.
