Page jumps using custom paper size

edited July 2001 in General
Hi,

We're having problems when printing checks to a dot matrix printer.
In each page, we could print up to 3 checks, so we created a report with
custom paper size. But sometimes, only one check is printed in each page.
So, right after printing the check, there's a page jump.
Can someone please help?

Thanks in advance,
Marcos Yano

If the custom paper size is big enough for one band (check), then that's all
that will fit on a page. Make the custom page size large enough for all 3
checks. You may want to use the BottomOffset property to create space
    between where the bands print.

Make sure you have the latest printer driver. What happens if you use the
    generic text printer driver?

You could also print the report to a report emulation text file and then
send the text file to the printer.

    Hi,

Unfortunately, the generic driver don't worked, as well as the text file.
Is there a way to avoid the page jump?

    Thanks in advance,

It sounds like it isn't a driver problem. Can you describe the layout of
this report or send an example to support@digital-metaphors.com? Something
in the report must be causing the page break, in which case we'll have to
isolate it in order to stop the page break.
