Double Calls

I'm trying to implement my own version of a Session-parameter based server.
I've noticed that the ValidateSessionParameter and the
AuthenticateDirectoryAccess routines are called twice for every 'connect'.
Is this normal or am i doing something wrong.

I've started from using the client & server demo with parameters.

This is correct. Events implemented on the server, may fire multiple times.
They may fire once to build a report volume directory and then fire again
when the report is accessed. Performing these activities may require
multiple instances of the datamodule that contains the report volume
components. There a differenct service providers on the server managing
different activities, the report catalog on the server, may fire some events
and then report service providers may fire some others.

Don't forget also that running in an HTML frameset, both sides of the frame
make requests on the webtier!
