How to suppress filter options on running report

Hi, another beginners question: I have a report that filters on two fixed parameters. When the user runs the report they do not need to change the parameters as they are fixed but the option to select is still showing. How can I stop the filter parameter options from being displayed when running a report?

  • Hi Bruce,

    It appears you may have AutoSearch enabled for your report parameters. You can easily disable AutoSearch for your report parameters by selecting the parameter and being sure the AutoSearchSettings.Enabled property is False.

    From DADE (data workspace) you can select the search criteria and be sure the "AutoSearch" option is unchecked.
