Source for raIDE

edited April 2004 in RAP
I have RB 6.03 with source
I have 2 copies of the file raIDE.DCU
I have 0 copies of the file raIDE.pas

Is my installation flawed, or does the pas file for this unit not ship?
Is it possible to get access to this unit?

I have modified much of the source, so that when I include raIDE.DCU in my
project, I get the error message "Unit raIDE was compiled with a different
version of ppClass.TppCustomReport"

I dont want to move to version 7 due to the vast amount of customisation
made. Does version 7 include source code for the RAP?

    Dave,

Unfortunately if you are customizing the ReportBuilder source, you cannot
alter any of the Interface sections if you still would like to use RAP.

    --------------------------------------------------
    Article: RAP Compiler Source Code
    ---------------------------------------------------

Having been in this market for quite some time now, we are aware of and
sensitive to the issues related to distribution of source code. With all
registered versions of ReportBuilder full source code is included.

However, RAP is a run-time Pascal compiler. Just as Borland does not
distribute source code to the Delphi compiler, Digital Metaphors will not
distribute the source code to the RAP compiler.

ReportBuilder is still a very powerful reporting platform when used without
    RAP.

The use of RAP is purely optional.

It is up to each customer to decide whether to use RAP. For those customers
who do not want to use RAP because they do not have the source code, we
respect their decision and hope that they can understand and respect ours.
