ODBC

edited April 2006 in DADE
There used to be a unit named daODBC98 to enable end user ODBC working. How
would one go about using ODBC with 9.03.

Thanks in advance

    - RB includes a DADE plug-in that supports Delphi's ADO components.
(Microsoft's ADO technology is the most common approach to connecting to
    ODBC datasources.)

    - You are referring to an old DADE plug-in that supported a third party data
access component set called ODBC98. (I do not recall the exact fate of the
product but I have not heard of it in years).

    - Borland's BDE supports ODBC, however I recommend using ADO rather than the
    BDE.
