1-Can I use security settings [ability to only view, password etc] within RB when creating a .PDF? 2-What type of .PDF is created--> PDF/A or something else?
The built-in PDF export device does not currently include security features. This is something we would like to add to a later release of ReportBuilder. The device creates PDF version 1.3 files.
Although we do not officially support PDF/A, with the new embedded font support of RB 11.x, it is possible to create a PDF file that complies with PDF/A standards using the current built-in export.
