Creating PDF output Question

edited February 2007 in Devices
?Hello !

Is there a way to create PDF files with "special" parameters like
"Cannot be printed" ?
As i know the PDF format itself has something defined and now
since we are printing invoices and saving them using PDF format we
need to "lock" them so they cant be printed from Acrobat Reader for
example....

Thanks in advance,
Wolfgang

    Hi Wolfgang,

This is not currently a feature of the PDF device however it is on our to-do
list for a future release to provide the option to lock/encrypt a PDF file
generated with ReportBuilder. I believe most of the third party PDF
exporters do currently offer this feature. Thanks for the feedback.

    Hi Wolfgang,

You can do this using eDocEngine by setting the Encryption and Encryption
permissions properties. Please have a go at it. Trial versions and EXE demos are
    available at:
